What we check, what we protect, and what we will not tolerate.

Teachers are checked before they appear

Every applicant is interviewed. We review the dialect they claim to teach, their experience, their camera and connection, and how they explain a grammar point to someone who knows nothing. Profiles that fail are not listed.

Reviews come from real lessons

Only a student who completed a lesson with a teacher can review them. We do not remove negative reviews on request, and teachers cannot edit what a student wrote.

Your money

You pay when you book, and the teacher is paid only after the lesson is completed. Lessons you have paid for never expire. If a teacher misses a lesson, it returns to your balance in full.

Cancellations are symmetrical

Twelve hours before a lesson either side can cancel free of charge. The same rule applies to the teacher, and repeated late cancellations affect their standing on the platform.

How we expect people to behave

Lessons are professional. Harassment, hate speech, and recording anyone without their clear agreement are not allowed. We do not record lessons ourselves, and neither side may record the other without consent.

Reporting something

Every teacher profile and every message thread can be reported. Reports are read by a person, not a filter, and we tell you what we decided.

Lessons with children

An adult holds the account and books the lessons. Teachers who work with children are marked on their profile, and a parent is welcome in the room at any time.
